Basketball Recap: Mallard Creek Mavericks vs. Chambers Cougars
If Mallard Creek was feeling good fresh off their 74-28 takedown of West Mecklenburg last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mallard Creek Mavericks were outmatched by the Chambers Cougars and fell 89-61. The Mavericks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kash Hayes, who posted 14 points.
