South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from George Bailey. Everything went the Ponies' way against the Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski Lions on Friday as they made off with a 28-8 win with plenty of help from Bailey, who rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Bailey is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season.

One reason for the win was South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Brody Pop was especially locked on to Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski's QB and sacked him twice.

South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville will welcome St. Thomas More at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski, they will square off against Pawnee/Lincolnwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
