Volleyball Recap: Grace Robinson and Emily Oak Secure Win for Lutheran South

Lutheran South won the last time they faced Principia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lutheran South was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-21.

Lutheran South was led to victory by Emily Oak and Grace Robinson. Oak had 20 digs and two aces, while Robinson had nine digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Oak is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

They weren't the only good servers: Lutheran South was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Principia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tshego Mhaladi had 11 digs.

Lutheran South's record now sits at 5-18-2. As for Principia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7-3.

As of now, neither Lutheran South nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
