Football Game Preview: Thurston Colts vs. Roseburg Indians + How To Watch

The Thurston Colts will challenge the Roseburg Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thurston will be strutting in after a victory while Roseburg will be coming in after a loss.

Thurston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Henley, who was ranked 20th at the time (Thurston was ranked 21st). The Colts walked away with a 35-27 win over the Hornets on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Justin Fisher was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 117 yards, and also picked up 73 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 57 yards.

Fisher was just one part of a punishing run game: Thurston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Roseburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 20-7 to Crater.

Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Roseburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
