Baseball Recap: Glenwood Comes Up Short

Glenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clarinda Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 14-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Clarinda, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenwood will face off against Sioux City West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clarinda, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
