Pine had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Geneva on Friday as Pine made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering Pine has won 13 contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the tenth in a row for Pine, bringing their record for this year to 14-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 83 goals over those ten matchups. As for Geneva, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Pine will be playing at home against Victory Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Pine has won five straight at home, while Victory Christian Academy won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
