After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reagan, Immaculata-La Salle was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the American Heritage Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

In the three sets Immaculata-La Salle was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 25-13, 25-12.

Immaculata-La Salle found their leader in freshman Dario Lamas, who had nine digs and two aces. Daniel Auza also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

When it comes to explaining why American Heritage lost, don't look at Anik Bora. Despite the final result, he had seven digs and three aces.

Immaculata-La Salle's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for American Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Immaculata-La Salle has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Coral Gables on the 7th. As for American Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Boca Raton on the 8th.
