Basketball Recap: Caden Williams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indian Trail over Manitowoc Lincoln

Indian Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships, falling 56-34. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Indian Trail lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caden Williams, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Zeller, who scored five points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Indian Trail's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Trail has already played their next contest (against Kenosha Bradford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Manitowoc Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on De Pere at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
