Volleyball Recap: Colfax Vikings vs. Grantsburg Pirates
Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Grantsburg Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.
Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Grantsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-7.
Colfax is on the road again on Tuesday to play Durand-Arkansaw at 7:00 p.m. As for Grantsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cadott on the 12th.
