Softball Recap: Fall River Gets the Win

Fall River's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plumas Charter Warriors, sneaking past 9-8. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Darcie Range was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Olivia Peterson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Fall River's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Plumas Charter, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Fall River will take on Loyalton at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Loyalton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Plumas Charter has already played their next matchup (against Mt. Shasta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
