Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial and Howard squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-15.

Miranda Ball was a one-woman wrecking crew For Howard. as she had 15 digs and three aces. Ball is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Howard, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

As of now, neither Centennial nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
