Newtown extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Eli Sullivan. Everything went the Nighthawks' way against the Danbury Hatters on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Sullivan, who had 17 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-8.

Newtown's record now sits at 4-1. As for Danbury, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newtown will welcome Kolbe-Cathedral at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Nighthawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Danbury, they will host Stamford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
