Chavez waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wasco Tigers 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Jacob Sixtos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Chavez saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Villarreal, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Chavez's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Wasco, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Chavez by a score of 10-1 on Thursday.
