Basketball Recap: Okay Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pawhuska last Thursday, Okay came back down to earth. The Okay Mustangs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Booker T. Washington Hornets an easy 72-51 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since December 29, 2023.

Barron Harris Jr. was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 13 on his way to 21 points for Booker T. Washington. The team also got some help courtesy of Joc Mitchell, who went 7 of 9 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Okay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Booker T. Washington, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Okay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-46 loss against Crossings Christian on the 27th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-65 defeat against Millwood on the 27th.
