Football Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

Miller came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Citrus Hill Hawks, falling 26-6. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

Jacob Sauceda threw for 78 yards and one TD. Stanley Leslie was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards and one score.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Citrus Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Miller will take on Corona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Citrus Hill, they will square off against Desert Hot Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
