Basketball Recap: Northland Pines Comes Up Short

Northland Pines lost against Mosinee back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northland Pines Eagles were beaten by the Mosinee Indians 75-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Indians are ranked 87th).

Northland Pines has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Mosinee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Northland Pines didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-29 defeat against Medford on the 14th. As for Mosinee, they have also already played their next game, a 64-17 victory against Tomahawk on the 14th.
