After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dudley, Hillside was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 19-13 W over the Heritage Huskies. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Leading Hillside to victory were Xavier Stevenson and Ameil Braswell. Stevenson rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while Braswell rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. Braswell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Hillside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
