Volleyball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren lost against Sotomayor last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the WILDCATS by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenya West paced Warren's offense, picking up six kills. West got some help from Katelyn Pineda and her 11 assists. Pineda was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Sotomayor, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hays on the 30th. As for Sotomayor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Madison on the 30th.
