Softball Recap: Eight Straight Road Victories for North Boone

After losing to Pecatonica the last time they met, North Boone decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. North Boone blew past Pecatonica 13-2 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

North Boone pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Pecatonica, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Boone will head out to square off against McHenry at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pecatonica, they will take on Amboy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
