Soccer Recap: First Flight Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

First Flight proved they can win big last Monday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Currituck County Knights 2-1. Given First Flight's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Currituck County are ranked 182nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Summer Stevens and Tori Vanacore scored both of First Flight's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.
