Parkway's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the South Adams Starfires as they made off with a 12-1 win. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brayden Bruns made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). Bruns was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacoby Triplett, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Isaac Beveridge was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Parkway always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Adams only posted an OBP of .261.

Parkway's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for South Adams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway will challenge Minster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Adams, they will square off against Bluffton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Starfires' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
