Volleyball Game Preview: St. Mary's Hawks vs. Alta-Aurelia Warriors

St. Mary is 2-8 against Alta-Aurelia since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors. St. Mary's will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

St. Mary's barely beat Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. St. Mary's put the hurt on Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Alta-Aurelia earned a 3-1 victory over West Bend-Mallard on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

St. Mary's record now sits at 12-4. As for Alta-Aurelia, their record is now 8-9.

St. Mary's came out on top in a nail-biter against Alta-Aurelia in their previous meeting on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
