It was a good run, but Splendora unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the West Fork Gators, falling 3-0. This is the first time the Wildcats have not won a set since all the way back on September 4th.

The final set scores came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

Kennedy Dean paced Splendora's offense, picking up 11 kills. Dean got some help from Kynlee Coleman and her 22 assists.

West Fork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kailey Pate led the charge by getting 18 assists, eight digs, and three aces. Another player making a difference was Khloe Lilly, who had 12 digs and 11 kills.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. West Fork (29-9) has been on a roll lately: they've now won 23 of their last 28 contests.

West Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against New Caney on the 8th.
