Soccer Game Preview: Travis vs. Lago Vista

The Travis Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Lago Vista Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Travis' offense. They lost 4-0 to Northeast Early College on Saturday. The Rebels have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

While Lago Vista's fans didn't get a definitive result on Tuesday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and Burnet finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Vikings have been dealt a draw since back in February.

Travis' loss dropped their record down to 3-17-2. With that draw, Lago Vista's record moves to 9-6-6.

Travis might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lago Vista in their previous matchup back in February. Can Travis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
