Baseball Recap: Eustis Comes Up Short

Eustis was the 9-1 winner over Seminole when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminoles on Thursday.

Tyler Heine and Ethan Jackson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Heine went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Jackson went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Eustis has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Seminole, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.

Eustis has already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Dr. Phillips on the 20th. As for Seminole, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 defeat against Apopka on the 20th.
