Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Pebblebrook

Pebblebrook won the last time they faced South Cobb and things went their way on Friday too. The Pebblebrook Falcons managed a 66-61 win over the South Cobb Eagles. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Eagles are ranked 68th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, South Cobb still got an impressive performance from Tabari Moulder, who went 6 for 10 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. Those 15 points gave Moulder a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Donald McMillan, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Pebblebrook's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for South Cobb, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
