Softball Recap: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Comes Up Short

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mishicot Indians, falling 17-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Monday.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Conrad, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mishicot, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will face off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mishicot, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Chilton at 9:00 a.m. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
