Baseball Recap: Summers County Comes Up Short

Summers County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to The Linsly School Cadets.

Summers County's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for The Linsly School, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Summers County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-11 victory against Bluefield on the 21st. As for The Linsly School, they will challenge Morgantown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
