Baseball Recap: Brushton-Moira Comes Up Short

Brushton-Moira scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Chateaugay Bulldogs by a score of 16-15. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Brushton-Moira got a massive performance out of Broc Allen, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Tristan Russell, who went 3-for-4 with three runs.

Brushton-Moira's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chateaugay, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brushton-Moira will square off against Madrid-Waddington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chateaugay, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tupper Lake at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th.
