Volleyball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Comes Up Short

Trinity Lutheran managed to slip by Bloomington South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Saturday.

Trinity Lutheran's offense was headlined by Rachel Bonde and Zoey Dulaney, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Elleigh Kiel and her 13 assists.

Trinity Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Bloomington South, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Trinity Lutheran will head out to square off against Floyd Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomington South, they will venture away from home to take on Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
