Baseball Recap: Union Catholic Has No Trouble Against the Pingry School

It's playoff time, and Union Catholic had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past The Pingry School Big Blue 10-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Vikings have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Union Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for The Pingry School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Union Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against St. Augustine Prep on the 30th. The Pingry School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
