Corning took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Gridley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cardinals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 1-0. The result kept Corning happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 15th.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alan Morales, who's now up to eight this season.
