Basketball Recap: West Skates Past Animo Venice with Ease

West's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 82-17 win over the Animo Venice Pirates. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 57-8.

The victory got West back to even at 11-11. As for Animo Venice, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will face off against St. Monica at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Animo Venice, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Animo Pat Brown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
