Softball Recap: Harrold Takes a Loss

Harrold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Olney Cubs. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Harrold saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marley L, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Harrold's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Olney, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Harrold will head out to square off against Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olney, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Haskell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
