Oakland put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Siegel Stars 38-0. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won four matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.

The critical scores for Oakland came from Deontae Short, Joel Wyatt, Donte Cameron, Justis Haggard, and Craig Tutt.

One reason for the win was Oakland's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Nehemiah Wade refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Kullen Williams was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (2.5 for loss).

Oakland's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Siegel, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Oakland is set to square off against their familiar foe Blackman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Patriots 4, the Blaze 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Siegel will take on rival Rockvale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
