Soccer Game Preview: Natchez vs. Brookhaven

Natchez hasn't had much luck against Brookhaven recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home pitch against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Natchez fell victim to Forest Hill and their airtight defense last Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Patriots. That's two games in a row now that Natchez have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, Brookhaven's game last Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Florence, falling 3-0.

Natchez's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brookhaven, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Natchez might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Brookhaven when the teams last played back in January. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
