Preview: Rolla vs. Washington

Washington and Rolla go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff matchup of the year. Washington will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Rolla took an ego-bruising defeat against Camdenton two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Everything came up roses for Rolla against Central as the squad secured a 74-8 win. That looming 66-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rolla yet.

As for Washington, they had a rough outing against Fort Zumwalt South, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Washington strolled past Howell North with points to spare, taking the contest 46-28. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Washington as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Their wins bumped Washington to 3-6 and Rolla to 6-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Rolla and Washington will really light up the scoreboard.
