Jake Morvay looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Columbia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Niceville pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Columbia, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.
Columbia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Niceville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .312.
