Bradly Dill was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Dill has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dill was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
In other pitching news, Isaac Ritchie looked comfortable as he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Mattanawcook got a massive performance out of Avery Jordan, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Harper, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Mattanawcook pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dexter, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
