Desert Heights Prep had to start their season on the road , and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by Antelope 73-37.
The losing side was boosted by Darron Flores, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Beck, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Bagdad sidestepped Mayer for a 42-39 win.
Desert Heights Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bagdad, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
