Riverdale extended their postseason success on Thursday against Peoria Notre Dame. They won by a set and slipped past the Irish 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won six matches in a row.

Riverdale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lola Wainwright out in front who had seven digs and four aces. That's the most aces Wainwright has posted over her last seven contests. Amarah Coleman was another key player, getting three digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Riverdale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matchups.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 25-10-1. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they moved to 24-13 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Coming up, Riverdale will square off against Chicago Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Peoria Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
