Basketball Game Preview: Brentwood Eagles vs. Bismarck Indians

The Brentwood Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Bismarck Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Brentwood will be strutting in after a win while Bismarck will be coming in after a defeat.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Brentwood sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over Veritas Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Bismarck was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 70-52 to North County.

Brentwood will have to keep a close watch on Austin Dunlap and Ean Bone, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bismarck's prior game. Dunlap went 12-for-20 en route to 29 points, while Bone went 5-for-6 to rack up 11 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Bone a new career-high in field goal percentage (83%).

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Bismarck, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Everything came up roses for Brentwood against Bismarck when the teams last played back in February of 2020, as the squad secured a 77-24 victory. Does Brentwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bismarck turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
