Recap: Natoma Tigers vs. Rock Hills Grizzlies
The Natoma Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Rock Hills 52-16. Natoma has struggled against Rock Hills recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Natoma saw an underclassman step up: Lillian Carter scored two points along with 11 rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lynae Paget, who scored seven points.
Natoma has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Rock Hills, they pushed their record up to 6-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Natoma will face off against Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stockton's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Natoma's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rock Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln on Friday. Rock Hills is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
