Basketball Recap: Paducah Tilghman Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McCracken County, Paducah Tilghman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Carlisle County Comets by a score of 65-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-45 back in February.

Paducah Tilghman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. With the loss, Carlisle County broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-16.

Looking ahead, Paducah Tilghman will be taking part in a tournament against Calloway County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paducah Tilghman has given up an average of 53.7 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Carlisle County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
