Baseball Recap: Willard Comes Up Short

Willard lost against Norwalk back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crimson Flashes lost 13-3 to the Truckers. The Crimson Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willard saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adler Ames, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Willard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Norwalk, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Willard and Norwalk will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Crimson Flashes are set to challenge their familiar foe Margaretta at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norwalk will face off against rival Sandusky at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
