Baseball Recap: Otter Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Otter Valley can now relate to. They fell just short of the Harwood Highlanders by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Otters have suffered since May 25, 2024.

Otter Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noel Pearsons, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Otter Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Harwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Otter Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harwood, they will square off against Missisquoi Valley on Saturday.
