Soccer Game Preview: Fox Creek vs. Augusta E

The Fox Creek Predators will face off against the Augusta E Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While Fox Creek's victory against Ridge Spring-Monetta wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Fox Creek's defense stepped up to hand Ridge Spring-Monetta a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The Predators haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fox Creek's one-goal win came courtesy of Jacob Spinks, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Augusta E was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Alleluia Community.

Augusta E's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fox Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
