Baseball Recap: Louis E. Dieruff Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Louis E. Dieruff's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Emmaus Hornets on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.

Louis E. Dieruff saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Dejesus, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Louis E. Dieruff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Emmaus, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Meanwhile, Emmaus is set to challenge their familiar foe Whitehall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Zephyrs a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
