Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Sunnyside Wildcats

Roosevelt is 2-8 against Sunnyside since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Roosevelt will be playing at home against Sunnyside at 3:30 p.m.

Roosevelt came up short against Torres on Saturday, falling 11-2. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Estrada, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunnyside). They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over McLane on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Highlanders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Sunnyside, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
