Basketball Recap: Buchholz Piles Up the Points Against P.K. Yonge

Buchholz can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 57-22 win over the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. That looming 57-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bobcats yet this season.

Buchholz got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Alexander out in front who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alessia Chaves-Torres, who scored 12 points.

Buchholz's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for P.K. Yonge, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Buchholz has already played their next match, a 53-41 loss against The Villages Charter on the 16th. As for P.K. Yonge, they will challenge Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
